The Brooklyn Elizabeth Chavez Scholarship

Empowering people to provide for themselves and their loved ones
by helping them secure a job or start a new career.

In the past, we have sponsored various non-profit organizations and while our efforts were rewarding, we wondered if there were other ways that we could make a difference in the lives of others. Recently inspired by Blake Mycoskie, founder of TOMS Shoes and his “Start Something That Matters” movement, we set out on a path to create a program of contribution that was lasting, significant and would become the life blood of our organization. Shortly thereafter, our very own “One For One” movement was born.

For every ONE direct-hire placement or registry/temporary order filled, we will provide a scholarship to ONE deserving individual in the local community.

Workforce Solutions Group has partnered with local adult education centers and private training schools to identify individuals who have a desire to serve others as healthcare professionals, but don’t have the means to pay for specialized training or re-training.

*Special consideration is given to armed service personnel who are returning to civilian life*

With our national unemployment numbers hovering in the double digits, people are desperate to find jobs. They are desperate to find a vehicle that will help get them in front of employers, with the end goal of ultimately landing a job. There are thousands upon thousands of openings across the country that remain unfilled. Companies need qualified and trained employees, and people need to work.

What We Do.

In a nutshell, we find people jobs. We are privileged to partner with really great organizations that are leaders in the healthcare industry, and in partnership with their management teams, we create workforce strategies that are designed to get people working.
